DAM vs Other Tools: A comparison

In the world of freeware, low-cost commodity software and the rise of the gig economy, marketing teams almost have too much choice at their disposal when it comes to managing brand assets and securely storing and distributing content. Well established freemium products that have a clever pricing strategy are commonplace. They are free of charge at the point of entry, but chargeable as additional services and features are introduced. Tools such as Google Drive, WeTransfer, Dropbox all have their place.

So why invest in and use a digital asset management (DAM) tool when all these tools are available? This paper discusses the benefits of a DAM and its advantages over the other tools.
