Mike is the new boy on the Maglabs team, having spent more than 20 years as a journalist working in television and current affairs, and then at the cutting edge of the UK entertainment industry.

At ITN, he edited the Big Breakfast’s news bulletins and Five News Early, the breakfast programme for Channel Five.

At Sky News, after producing the award-winning Sunrise and Live at Five programmes, he helped launch the ground-breaking Sky News Active service, combining his love of TV, news and new technology.

In 2001 set up the digital division of Sky Movies, developing it for almost a decade and working with all the major Hollywood studios on the launch of Sky’s digital movie download services. This year he took on the role of Sales and Marketing Director for Maglabs.

Mike is a Pattenmaker, a founder member of Notting Hill’s Electric House and currently Chairs BAFTA’s Digital Strategy and Communications Committee.
